I am a firm believer that digital technology has not only hurt the art scene but nearly destroyed it. Within the next 20 years, I feel that art, as we know it; will be truly dead.
I'm know I've contributed to this and its truly a shame.
Technology can suck it. Ctrl + Z is for A-holes.

ReplyDeletejer, i like where you're coming from. the idea that technology brings art to the masses because it makes things easier is flawed. technology only makes the good stuff harder to find, while diluting the overall well of "creativity". this is evident in the visual arts, as well as recorded music. on the other hand, technology has made it very easy to bitch and complain to no one in particular and still manage to find an audience at virtually any time of day or night.
